Sophia Pantazes

Sophia began her journey in aesthetics in 2006 and it wasn’t long before she found her calling. For what seemed the first time in her life, everything she learned and did made sense. She completed the Cidesco program in 2007 at the top of her class and got her first start in the field at the Hilton San Francisco. There she began to learn the type of aesthetician she wanted to be and has been growing as one since. She has spent the past several years traveling and has come to reside recently with the Venus team. Sophia is passionate about helping people feel their best and finding ways to realistically achieve their goals. She has an impeccable touch with facials and is a quick wax artist. She believes in working on the body as a whole and knows that one’s person’s journey is unique to another. What Sophia loves most about her work is the mental therapy that comes along with it and she has a particular methodology to reprocess that brings ease to her clients.

Arina Shames

Arina came to Venus with a mission to help women look and feel their best. She is an artist in the facial room with a true passion for her craft. Arina believes in both the holistic side to skin care as well as the more Western approach. She believes there is a healthy balance that can be achieved and is a firm believer in preventative care treatments. Working with mature skin types is her specialty but ultimately whats drive Arina is the relationship she is able to build with her clients and seeing the results shine through.

Shanna Burke

After 5 years in the medical field I decided to live my life long passion for skin care and become a licensed esthetician . I had thought about it for many years and really wanted to love my job and enjoy helping people become more confident in their own skin. Today I feel my life is complete, doing what I love and working at such a great place helping people achieve their skin and body goals. I love that My clients become part of my life and I feel  it’s so important to develop a great relationship with every single one of them. I look forward to many more years to come living my calling and educating clients with my knowledge and experience of skin care

Miria Kutcher

Miria is the founder of Venus bodywork; she introduced customized body treatment protocols from around the world to Venus clients in San Francisco. Her formal training includes studies at the University of Miami, Acupressure Institute, San Francsico School of Massage, San Francisco College of Cosmetology and NLP with the Tad James Co. Miria’s passion is to bring balance and beauty into the lives of all of her clients while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. She is joined by several highly skilled esthetician and body-workers that share her vision. The Venus Bodywork staff is as passionate as Miria is about delivering an uncompromising, effective, intimate suite of services focused on client goals and results
